Necklace with glass pendant bought at Meijikan, Motomachi -- ¥1,680

Fridge magnet with clip. A lot of handycrafts are made in owl, wolf or bear form in Hokkaido. This one sold at Hell Valey gifts shop.
Another best place to buy KOSE products is the Duty Free shop. I got these at Narita Airport, about 31%-38% cheaper in Malaysia.
1. Massage Mask (¥3,500)
2. Clear Lotion (¥1,700)
3. White Powder Wash (¥2,100)
If you ever have spare time, try to persuade your tour guide to bring you to ¥100 shop. Although most of the items are made in China, the quality is definitely better. Worth buying...just see what we bought...each item is sell at ¥105 (inclusive of 5% tax) which is about RM3 only
1. Home sandal. Soft and washable.

2. LCD monitor and keyboard dust cover.

Food Section
When you go overseas, you can't resist hoarding loads of goodies back especially snacks and local produce. We bought these from the omiyage shop at Tanukikoji shopping arcade, Sapporo.
1. Tokibi Corn Chocolate http://www.hori-group.jp/hori/shop/list/1_6/
Photo extracted from official site.

This is what we bought on the first day from the drugstores at Tanukikoji shopping arcade. This is only the first day! We have done our homework so we got some ideas what to buy. Personally, I felt you really need to do the homework unless you could read Japanese. Even though you could read, you might not have the time to study each item. So basically I just grabbed what looks familiar into my basket especially those recommended in the Taiwanese popular 女人我最大 TV show.
Our flight back is 1330 and we need to reach the airport 2 and half hour before for check in. The hotel is not far from the airport. So free and leisure in the morning until transfer to Narita airport. No group check-in, so everyone had to queue up. I think most of our tour members have exceeded the weight limit. Our luggage only weight 38kg
Not bad.
After immigration checkpoint, you could shop at the duty free shop and lots of omiyage shops too. If you want to buy ROYCE chocolate, you need to take the train first. In the terminal, they still have mini stalls selling omiyage but not many.

Hokkaido~DAY6 HAKODATE 函馆朝市-->金森倉庫-->100yen shop
By Happy452 - Thursday, August 14, 2008
Today we will visit the famous Hakodate Morning Market 函馆朝市. We will be having our lunch and dinner early today as we need to catch a flight back to Narita at 1855 hours.

M-size is ok with us as we use it for porridge and soup only.
A must buy in Hokkaido is the dry scallop. It's better quality and cheaper as they have pretty of supply here. According to Low-san that Japanese also sell dry China scallop in the market to cater for specific group of consumers.
Hokkaido~DAY5 Natural Formation of Noboribetsu 登别市
By Happy452 - Tuesday, August 12, 2008

Today breakfast is a bit special. Breakfast in set at the Yumoto Noboribetsu Hotel where we had our dinner last night. Of course no yukata this morning but still need to sit on the tatami floor.
Hell Valley (JIGOKUDANI) 地獄谷 is our first sightseeing spot today. Very near to the hot spring town. Cloud of steams and volcanic gas coming out from the surface and filled with strong smell of sulphur. This place was the remnant of an active volcano erupted 10,000 years ago. We followed the wooden path to the end to witness the bubbling hot water every 5 minutes. Those with breathing problem better stay off the area. They have a gifts shop at the entrance. So you could wait there if you don’t want to go in.
